Lectureships, Series, Annual Events
Among its many programs, the Campus Christian Center offers several lectureships and special events during the academic year. Quite often and regularly in some cases, the Center collaborates with other departments on campus in creative co-sponsorships to increase the quality, scope, and cross-disciplinary or integrative character of the various lectureships and events. The department offers some lectureships that occur as part of the Convocation Series each year: the Ruth Pister Hampel Memorial Lectureship in Religion; the Earl G. and Sue D. Robbins Peace Lectureship; and the Service-Learning Lectureship. The remaining programs usually occur in other venues, such as within the contexts of worship, workshops, seminars, or colloquies.
