About the Buildings

The Ecovillage, an environmentally sustainable residential / learning complex with housing for 50 student families, combines family apartments, the Boyd and Gaynell Fowler Child Development Laboratory, a demonstration "Sustainability House," an Ecological Machine wastewater treatment system, and other environmental features which reduce the community's impact on the environment. College and community members learn sustainable principles and practices as they live, work, and study in this model facility.
