The May 2009 round of Flex-E-Grants is open to all units of government and 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations in Kentucky’s distressed counties (as designated by the Appalachian Regional Commission for Fiscal Year 2008). Qualified applicants can request up to $10,000 for a community capacity project.
The FY 2008 ARC distressed counties in Kentucky are:
Bath, Bell, Breathitt, Carter, Casey, Clay, Clinton, Cumberland, Elliott, Estill, Floyd, Harlan, Hart, Jackson, Johnson, Knott, Knox, Lawrence, Lee, Leslie, Letcher, Lewis, Lincoln, McCreary, Magoffin, Martin, Menifee Monroe, Morgan, Owsley, Perry, Powell, Rockcastle, Russell, Wayne, Whitley, and Wolfe.
