| With
Web Registration, instructors now may grant permission directly
to students to enter courses that may be closed or courses with
which there is a scheduling conflict and may override course prerequisites,
if any. However, it is essential that instructors and department
chairpersons agree in advance on appropriate course enrollment
limits.
Following are directions for granting permissions (overrides)
for students to enter closed classes or courses with scheduling
conflicts and for giving overrides for course prerequisites.
to the secure area of BONd using your userID
and PIN
- Select “Faculty Services”
- Click on “Registration
Overrides”
- Select the appropriate term and click “Submit
Term”
- The drop-down box has a list of students who are
your current advisees. If the student happens to be your advisee,
you can
choose the name from the drop-down box. If the student is not
an advisee, you must click the "Enter Student ID Directly" link.
Enter the student ID and click "Submit ID."
- It is
important that you choose the appropriate override in the drop-down
box. Choose the course in the drop-down box for
which
the permission to enter is being given.
- Click "Submit Changes" and
confirm the override by clicking "Commit Changes." The
student then can register for the course by going online.
- For
security purposes, please click “Exit” before
closing your browser.
While you routinely will grant these permissions on the Web,
there may be times when it will not be possible for you to do
so immediately. Students can use a Course Registration Form for
obtaining your signature, then register for the course at a later
time by taking the form to the Student Service Center, First
floor, Lincoln Hall.
Please contact Delphia
Canterbury in the Office of Academic
Services if you have any questions concerning these instructions
or if problems arise during the registration period.
