Initial
Login
Your User ID is your social security number. Your initial
PIN (Personal Identification Number) is your birth date in the
form
of mmddyy. For example, a birth date of January 3, 1976 would
be entered as 010376. Your PIN is a six-digit number, which
will function as a password.
The next screen will read: "Your PIN has expired. Please
change it now." In the first box, "Re-enter Old PIN," type
your birth date. In the second box, "New PIN," select
a 6-digit number that is different from your birth date and Social
Security number, but easy for you to remember. This new PIN is
the one you will use to access your information. Type your new
PIN in the middle AND bottom boxes. IMPORTANT:
THE NEW PIN IS NOT THE ALTERNATE PIN YOUR ADVISER GAVE TO YOU
FOR REGISTRATION
PURPOSES. The third box is for verification. All three boxes
are required. Then click on the "Login" button. If
at any time you are logged out of the system automatically, please
start from the beginning and re-enter your User ID and PIN. (See
instructions under Subsequent Login if you already have been
able to reset your User ID and PIN.)
For security purposes, you automatically will be logged out
after five minutes of keyboard inactivity. Always click “Exit” before
closing your browser.
Subsequent Login
If you have logged into BONd (Berea’s Online Neighborhood)
before, simply type in your ID# and the Personal Identification
Number (PIN) you selected on your initial login to BONd. For
security purposes, you automatically will be logged out after
five minutes of keyboard inactivity.
If you have forgotten your PIN, click on the "Forgot PIN?" button
and follow the instructions. If you supply the correct answer,
your settings will return to the initial ones and you will use
the instructions above to reset your password. If you still are
unable to remember the PIN, bring your ID card to the Office
of Academic Services, First Floor Lincoln Hall, and a staff member
will reset the PIN for you.
