Clint Farrar is entering his second season as a graduate assistant basketball coach at Berea College. Last season, Farrar helped the Mountaineers to a 17-15 overall record and a 4th place finish in the KIAC regular season standings after posting a 7-6 league mark. In three years as an assistant coach for John Hemenway, Farrar has helped compile an overall record of 70-32 and a 37-12 record against conference opponents. Farrar has been a part of two programs that have averaged 23 wins per season, made two appearances in the NAIA II National Tournament in Branson, Missouri and have won both a regular season and conference tournament championship.
Farrar made the transition with Coach Hemenway from Dakota Wesleyan University to Berea College after serving as a student assistant coach for two seasons. In those two seasons, he helped the Tigers to an overall record of 53-15, two NAIA Division II National Tournament appearances, the 2010 GPAC regular season championship and the 2010 GPAC Tournament championship.
This season, Farrar will assist the coaching staff by handling all administrative duties within the basketball program, coordinate the film exchange program, help with on-floor coaching and recruiting. Farrar is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sports Administration from Eastern Kentucky University. He currently resides in Berea, Kentucky.
