| Cary
was born in Greece and moved to Chicago with his family when
he was ten years old. He grew up playing soccer in Greece
and briefly played professionally there. He is a licensed
coach with the USSF and the NSCAA, and since moving to Lexington
he has been coaching boys and girls, of all ages, at different
levels. He has coached for LYSA, Ky. Kickers, ODP, was coach
of the Sayre HS boys varsity team for 11 years, and is currently
coaching for Lexington Futbal Club and Berea College.
Besides being a soccer coach, Cary is also a photographer
and an artist. From an early age, he displayed a natural
affinity for drawing and painting. This became his passion
and remained one constant in his life. He studied Commercial
Photography and Advertising at Columbia College in Chicago.
He returned to Greece and for four years worked as a studio
photographer for an advertising agency in Thessaloniki.
While in Greece he also studied iconography at the monastic
community of Mount Athos. He is married with two children,
a boy and a girl neither of which play soccer.
