Berea College Men's Basketball Set To Host “Suits and Sneakers” Weekend

Berea College men’s basketball coach John Hemenway will unite with basketball coaches across the country for the “Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers” awareness weekend during Mountaineer home games tonight and tomorrow. As part of the event, Coach Hemenway and his staff will wear sneakers with their game suits while coaching this weekend in an effort to raise awareness and funds to support the American Cancer Society’s work to save lives from cancer.
The Mountaineers host two important conference games this weekend. Please come out to the Seabury Center tonight and tomorrow to support the team and their efforts to help fight cancer. A portion of ticket sales from both games this weekend will be donated to the American Cancer Society. While games are free to students, faculty and staff, there will be a donation box set up at the ticket table for anyone who would like to contribute funds to the American Cancer Society.
