Brittany Buchanan

Brittany Buchanan is a junior Appalachian Studies major with a minor in Business Administration. She doesn’t know what she wants to be when she “grows up” but she wants to return home someday and teach children about Appalachia and Jesus.

Misty Janelle Campbell

Misty Janelle Campbell is from Hazard, Kentucky. She is a junior here at Berea College and is majoring in Child and Family Studies. After college she wants to go to law school and practice criminal law.


Johauna Gosney

Johauna Gosney is a junior from Newport, Kentucky majoring in Sociology with a minor in Appalachian Studies. She works as the Entrepreneurship for the Public Good Program Manager. This past summer, she completed the first phase of the EPG institute internship program.

Stephanie Mullins

Class: 2013

 

Stephanie Mullins is from Clintwood, Virginia. She began working with Appalachian Heritage in Fall 2010. She is a sophomore who plans to double major in English (with a concentration in creative writing) and Theatre. Stephanie loves to read, write, listen to music, and watch movies. She has a large collection of DVD's, from every genre imaginable, that traveled to Berea College with her. Movies and plays are considered her weakness. Stephanie would love to work for a Theatre and/or own a small bookstore while she writes.

Elizabeth Quay

Elizabeth Quay has been working in the Artifacts and Exhibits Studio since Fall 2009. She is a junior History major and Music minor with plans for pursuing museum studies in graduate school. When not busy with class or labor, Elizabeth enjoys participating in music ensembles and is involved in the traditional dance scene around Berea.

Travis Rigg is from Blacksburg, Virginia. He is a freshman at Berea College. He has been doing Taekwondo for four years.
