Biography
Christopher Miller has spent his career exploring the application of museum-like modes of teaching and learning in museums and in the world of higher education. He has been at Berea College since 1993, initially appointed as Director of Berea College’s Appalachian Museum. While at Berea, Miller has also served as Network Services Administrator and Interim Director of the Appalachian Center. Prior to coming to Berea Miller spent seven years working in public museums: The Minnesota History Center, the Outagamie Museum (Appleton, WI), and the Houdini Historical Center. While training for this work, he also worked in museums Wilmington, Delaware and Statesburo, Georgia.
