Dinner on the Grounds: Appalachian Health & Well-Being

The Dinner on the Grounds presentation will be a brief overview of key factors influencing health across the Appalachian region: genetics,environment, lifestyles, and health care systems. It examines the current health status of Appalachians in the areas such as cardiovascular health, diabetes management, obesity and food insecurity, cancer, traumatic injury, mental and oral health, and substance abuse. It will include ample time for questions, comments, and discussion of community-based responses to health issues.
