Join the Concert Choir on a 14-day
concert tour to China
May 29 – June 11, 2007
IMAGINE……Traveling with, and perhaps singing* with
the Berea College Concert Choir this summer!
IMAGINE……Seeing many of the great wonders of the
world such as the Great Wall and the Forbidden City in Beijing,
the Terra Cotta Warriors in Xian, and the Longmen Buddha Grottos
in Luoyang.
IMAGINE……Hearing, or even performing in, six concerts,
including four collaborative concerts with the Concert Choir and
Chinese university choirs.
Cost: $3,200** per person includes:
- Non-stop,
round-trip airline transportation to China from Chicago or Cincinnati
on United Airlines
- All
transportation within China (air, train, and private, modern,
deluxe motorcoach) accommodations in excellent 3- and 4- star
hotels based on double occupancy
- Three
meals per day (Western-style breakfast and two Chinese meals)
- Guided
excursions
- Entrance
fees to all museums and attractions
- Full-time,
multi-lingual guides/managers
- Tips
to hotel personnel and printed itineraries
- It
does not include costs of a passport and visa, both of which
are required for entrance into China.
* Concert Choir alumni who wish to perform with the choir
on a few selections, music will be mailed to you in advance of
the trip, and we will arrange some rehearsals early in the tour.
** The alumni price of $3,200 is $500 more
than the amount the students are paying. The $500 tax-deductible
gift will help make it possible for Berea College students to
afford to travel with the choir.
