2008 Arizona Chapter Meeting

“Recognizing a Change Opportunity” was our theme because, as a group, we are aging.  How can we continue our loyalty—20 years as a group—into the future?

The highlight was the personal message of hope given to us by Bill Laramee, special guest from the college.  Student guest, Micki Biggs, was a delight, a person with a terrific “Berea” story as told by Mark Boes.  Thanks again to John Auxier for making her visit possible.

What a joy to have young Bereans in our meeting – Paul Clawson, Rebekah Hall and Candace Sheldon.  Good personal highlights and fund was had by all who attended.

Thanks again to Berea for our craft giveaways, my license plate holder, and for your time and thoughts given to make our meeting “as good as it can get”.

Our “Pass the Hat” tradition (originally a cowboy Stetson) garnered in checks $1,015.00 for Berea.  That amount, added to other cash and donations ($253.00 from the club) comes to a total of $1,268.00 given to Berea from our group this year.  We are proud to have given to our college in its continuance of Berea ideals.
