Admission Deadlines

Prospective students can begin submitting applications in June.  Berea College begins reviewing completed application files in September and continues until April, or until spaces are full. Review of transfer applicants begins in February and concludes in May.

Application Deadlines for Freshmen

Priority #1: October 31, 2013

Priority #2: February 28, 2014

Final: April 30, 2014

All prospective students with application files that are incomplete as of April 30 will be denied admission. Consideration of completed applications between November 1, 2013 and February 28, 2014 will be solely at the discretion of the Director of Admissions. Generally speaking, the earlier you apply and complete all components of your application the better your chances of admission.

Final: March 31, 2014

All prospective transfer students with applications that are incomplete as of April 30 will be denied admission.

Declare Your Intent to Enroll

If admitted, you will have until May 1, 2014 to declare your intent to enroll. However, as admission to Berea is very competitive and we have a limited number of spaces available, space can only be guaranteed to the first 400 students who submit their Declaration of Intent forms and $50 non-refundable deposits.
