The Berea College Catalog (print and online versions) provides detailed descriptions of the major and minor requirements, as well as detailed recommendations for students and advisers in entries called Exploring the Major, Admission to the Major, Course Sequencing Considerations, Proficiency Requirements for Retention in and Completion of the Major, and Other Considerations and Recommendations.
For the most current Major Curriculum Guides or Minor Checklists, please go to the online Catalog and look for the link at the top righthand side called “Curriculum Guides.” Select the student’s Catalog year, then the desired guide or checklist. Please note that whenever changes are made, a new date will be included in the header for the Curriculum Guide or in the footer for the Minor Checklist. Please be certain that you and your advisee are using the most up-to-date version. If you are aware of errors in any of these guides, please notify Rita Fox in the Office of Academic Services by e-mail or at 985-3525. For guides older than the 2005-2006 academic year, please contact the Student Service Center.
