Appalachian Center seeks to stimulate and encourage the integration
of Appalachian Studies throughout Berea College’s curriculum.
Courses in many departments and many GST courses include study
of Appalachia.
Appalachian Studies
A minor in Appalachian Studies is available. Students wanting
to pursue more concentrated study of the region can develop an
independent major in Appalachian Studies.
