Directions to Berea

Easily accessible, Berea is located about 40 miles south of Lexington, Ky., just off Interstate 75. The driving time from Louisville, Ky., Knoxville, Tenn., or Cincinnati, Ohio is slightly more than two hours.

To reach Berea College Office of Admissions:

From Interstate 75, take Exit 76 and head east into the town of Berea. (If you are travelling northbound on Interstate 75, turn right off of the exit ramp. If you are travelling southbound on Interstate 75, turn left off of the exit ramp.)

Continue straight on this road (Chestnut Street) for approximately 2 miles. After stoplight #6, you will pass the Berea City Hall and fire department (on the left) and the El Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant (on the right). Then, you will two older, renovated white houses.  The second one is the Haaga House, where the Admissions Department is located. Turn into the first driveway on the right past the Haaga House and before the first brick campus building (Knapp Hall). Park in an available spot and enter through the front door of Haaga House. (If you reach Stoplight #7 or Boone Tavern, you've gone too far.)
